Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some answers to Frequently Asked Questions

What is a service like?

We start at 10.15am every Sunday morning, we have a welcome and prayer, followed by a time of worship which includes worship songs and hymns, then more prayer time and a short talk.  We then have a well earned cuppa and biscuits and a chat, all are welcome.  If you come on the first Sunday of the month then we have tables and chairs and the service is more all-age to include the children, so be prepared to join in.  We have different members of the church who have a gift of speaking who take the service each week.

What do I wear?

Come in casual or whatever you feel comfortable in.

Where do I sit?

No seats are reserved you may sit where you like

Do I have to pay?

No, you do not have to pay. We have a basket at the front if you would like to donate.

Is there any carparking?

Yes, we have permission to park in the school car park a little way up Chapel Street.

Are there any activities for children?

Yes, we have a small safe area in the church for smaller children to play and also three sundays of the month we have our Junior Church for 3year olds and up, where children learn about Jesus in a way they can understand with craft, prayer, song and games. We also have our All Age service at the beginning of each month where all are welcome.
